Why do I need a Mill Test Report?

Many applications in the PVF world have material requisites in design to safely function. For example, a pressure vessel like an industrial boiler, in the United States, is required to meet the American Society of Mechanical Engineers – Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (ASME BPVC). This code requires the fabricator to ensure all parts, used in the construction of the pressure vessel, have traceability, and conform to the applicable codes/standards/specifications.
